I also would like to use this blog to vent a little about how hard this journey has been. I never thought competing for a local TV personality job would be so stressful and cut-throat. At times I find myself wishing for that little room with a camera in it, like the confessional rooms in Real World or really any reality show. I'm starting to understand why so many of the contestants start crying in them, this is a little harder than I thought it would be. I used to be like "hey you baby! Stop crying! You are on TV and get to live in a kick ass house" but now I'm starting to feel the pressure. I thought it would be easy; start a Facebook group, Tweet a little, make some business cards. Alas it always feels like I'm one step behind everyone. The other contestants are going on radio shows, making YouTube videos, writing to Oprah and Ellen... Well I may have made up the last one, but it's not a bad idea! Having a full time job has not made campaigning for this easy but the fight is not over yet! I won't give up and I will fight until the end. This job is not something that's just going to fall into my lap, I'm going to have to fight for for this and not let these other posers get in my way. Actually they are all really nice people, but this is war baby!!!!!
So this is it, the start of my journey! I'm going to blog, tweet, upload and update my way to the top! I hope all of you stay with me during this journey and that I entertain you.
Along with the written word there will be video blogging. This blog is supposed to help me, but I fear my horrible spelling and disastrous grammar will only end up embarrassing me. So videos seem like a safer bet, hopefully.
I will be doing weekly videos titled "Catch up With Hanna!" I will talk about my personal journey as well as catching you up on the last CW and entertainment news. I Hope you like them and if you don't please just pretend you do. So without further ado you will find my first video below, enjoy! I really love the freeze frame... Please don't tell me if you hate it!
